Yotes are skittish so keep good cover, watch the wind, etc. Like most predator hunting you want to keep in their mindset so watch for where they may get water, food, cover etc. As for calling etc I've never had to do much of that though I'd bet I'd get more if I did. I saw a youtube video once and they were simply using a rubber duck (no joke) to make noises and bring it in. Was quite effective. So, I've concluded I don't need the fanciest calls and whatnot I just need to know how to use whatever I have. Its rather cold this time of year so be sure to take your emergency stuff. Good luck on the fishing and hunting! I was in WA state near grand coulee dam a few weeks ago and the fishing was great and the yotes were everywhere. I've really gotta go back there.
